Work has a way of putting a real damper on the holidays.
In our employee handbook, I thought I had readthat we had the day after Christmas off...and I just found out yesterday we don't. Who in heck is going to go apartment hunting the day after Christmas!!!! Give me a break!

Everybody is busy trying to recover on the day after Christmas. And get over their hangovers!
Oh, that sucks!!!! I'm sorry you don't get the day off.
On the other hand, we moved into our house the day after Christmas 1999. So, I figure some hardy folks are probably out the day after Christmas hunting for a place to live. But, I'm sure it won't be enough to keep your workplace from being a total waste of electricity & man-power that day.
Sorry you don't get the 26th off.
Well, at least it can be a very casual, relaxed day at work???
I agree. I prefer to have a day off after every day. LOL!
Well, there might be folks looking to return or exchange their apartments on the day after Christmas!
I'm just jazzed that I have both the 24th and the 25th off. (There's even a rumor of a plant shut-down for maintenance for the remainder of the week. Here's hoping!)
Merry Christmas!
UPDATE: Looks like I will be working that week. Oh, well, it's all good!
I have jury duty on the 27th. Give me a break!
At least if nobody is hunting apartments, your day will be easy.
Hang in there, Barb.
Take care.
btw
Merry Christmas, Barb!
I had to work today, and on the day after Christmas... Merry Christmas Barb! Make sure to drink lots of Ovaltine. ;)
Good to see you're posting again, even if not too often.
Sorry that you don't have more of a "vacation" from work. It will probably be a good day to take a good book or some knitting to the office.
Here's a seasonal card for you, and my best wishes for health, happiness and better days in the new year.

Many Merry Christmas Blessings, Barb!!!! I hope you have a fantastic day tomorrow!
Merry Christmas, foxy lady!
The little man sure has put the magic back in our holiday season.
Merry Christmas.
And a happy New Year!
