Day From Hell

Can today get any worse...and its only a quarter to 11.

Went out to get into my car to go to work this morning and nothing....absolutely nothing. The car won't start.

I call AAA and they come out and can't get it started either.

So the guy loads up my car and hauls it to the Saturn dealership. I have no idea what is wrong and I am stranded at home. I have no help and no one to turn to for a ride...I can't even get ahold of my freaking ex to see if he can help me.

I want to go back to sleep and start today all over.

So by the time today is over...I will either have a running Saturn or a new car...I have to have a car.

I hate days like today.

There there now... relax take a deep breath... it will be OK. Grab something nice to drink and a siesta.

That stinks, I hate when that happens. Mine started out bad too. I went outside and heard a water sound. The hot tub was almost empty and was shooting water all over the place. I will have that waiting on me when I get home. Good luck my friend,

Greg

Ah... it happens... I drive my faithful 20-yr. old Buick, so I know what you're goin' through... but just because it doesn't start one day doesn't mean ya have to get a new car! Cars are like relationships. In order for them to work for a very long time, they require regular maintenance, and a little TLC... :)

Oh no!!!! I hope that this is the WORST your day gets, Barb, and that it improves greatly from here on out! Best of luck, with whatever happens with your car.

There is nothing worse than being stranded because of car trouble. Hopefully it won't be anything too major.

Aw BarD ... Hate it for you Honey! They say it takes days like this to differentiate & recognize the truly good ones. Still, it's hated!
Left for work this morning, only to discover at the red light that my brake booster or master cylinder is going out! Eke! Emergency brakes come in handy when there is no where to go...
I wonder how long I can go on this way...
Let us know about your Saturn!

Hope you turned it into an unexpected day off, deep soak in a bubble bath, de-fuzz everything that might need de-fuzzing, face mask, manicure, pedicure, hair treatment.. every cloud, and all that, eh?

Aw, that stinks. What is going on? My Sunday and Monday weren't all that great either. I pulled a calf muscle and could barely walk, had to miss a day of my brand new job. >:(
I hope your car feels better soon.

I feel your pain.

Our 10 year old van is in the shop again for transmission problems. This is after having already spent about $1,500 on said transmission since last October.

This means the non-working parent is stranded at home with the 3 year old all day.

Best of luck with the Saturn, my friend!

Such things do happen. One of my friends had experienced like this in our school days.
He got up in the morning from the wrong side and stepped on the dog. hurriedly he went to brush and as he was about to bath he screamed in horror. The water was burning hot. his mama had forgot to mix some cool water. with burns he hurriedly gobbled up his breakfast only to choke and cough. he lifted his bag and away he went to the gate only to see the schoolbus had already left. He walked downtown to his school. For being late he was made to stand out in the sun for an hour.
during maths class he realized he had left homework at school. he got two cane whipping on his hands.

Look you are lucky.

Iffin the day starts out as a total disaster it only means that things can only get better. Unless you get hit by yer own car on the way home from work.

Barb, you will be fine. You do so much to run the business of your life, and none of it is wasted effort. One day, you will reap all the rewards that you work so hard at planting right now.

Sing let me borrow a painting to write to! I'll send you something very soon. I swear it! Thanks for being you, Barb.

'Hope it's running and you're on the road again.

BTW I like your playlist. Nice to know the artist's names for those I'm not familiar with.
