Thing to know about me(me)

Thanks to all of you for the fantastic Birthday Wishes! It was a good one. I was busy the last few days putting great music on my new MP3 player. Music I love can be a blog unto itself!

I was tagged for a meme from Queen Anne's Revenge. It is 5 Little known facts facts about myself! (This should be interesting), then I get to tag 5 other people (that's the best part!)

1. I was mistaken for a boy. As as child I was very much a tomboy. I had short hair, jeans and t-shirts, and played in the mud as much as possible! One day my mom and I were riding the bus and a gentleman told my mom she had a handsome son! I was mortified and decided it was time to start acting more like a girl!

2. I went to beauty college and have had every shade of colored hair, every length of hair and every type of hair style!

3. I was a cheerleader in high school for 1 year. It was a fluke, I was dared to try out. I did and I made the squad....it was interesting, but not really my thing.

4. I like almost every type of music there is. From oldies, to country, soft rock, alternative, reggae, punk, grunge...I just got an MP3 player and have had a blast filling it with a very eclectic variety of music.

5. I carry on full conversations with people in my sleep. I have had people wake me up and ask me what I am talking about or dreaming about...I can never remember when I wake up, but when they repeat back to me, I laugh at the very odd things I say.

There, now you all know some strange things about me. I get to choose 5 people and they are...
Em , Doragon , Jay , Kati , Lone Beader,

How fun! I guess that's one way to make you a little more girlie. At least he thought you were good looking!

Hmm .. I pretty much knew you were a broad .. uh chick ... uh woman from the moment I first saw your blog. ;-)

You should set up a recorder to record your converstations in your sleep. They could be very interesting. And then you could upload them to YouTube of course. hahaa

LoL @ being mistaken for a boy! I( agree with Susan though... he at least, recognized your beauty! Cheerleading on a dare...hahaha, goes back to 'be careful what you wish for!'

Uh, that means I need to come up with 5 more strange things about me. LOL Ok, give me a day or two. I'll get to it, I promise. Right now I've gotta get heading to work.

(Oh, and for the record, DD frequently gets mistaken for a boy, as she's rolling around stores on her heely's, in her blue jacket, with her short hair. And it annoys her to no end! *grin*)

WOW! The cheerleader thing was a big surprise. I'm not surprised that you didn't think it was your thing though. You don't strike me as the cheerleader type (that's a compliment BTW).

I love that cheerleading on a dare thing! LOL! It's crazy what we will do on a dare, isn't it? Great post!

Hmmmmm...that stuff sounds pretty normal to me, well maybe except for #1 (YIkes)...I'll try to come up with something, maybe for tommorrow... =:0

I guess I can't say I was a cheerleader, huh? Okay, I'll think of 5 things you don't know. Might not be as interesting as your list, though.

Carol - Thanks for stopping by my blog and for the birthday wish!

Chucky- Fine then you tell me 5 things about you I don't know.

Susan - yes, he could have said, lady you have a funny looking little boy! lol

Jay - whew, I worried I might still have that boy thing going on, thanks for making it clear you knew I was a broad, uh chick...

SKL- It was sorta fun, but I am not too girlie, so I got tired of talking about my nails and stuff.

Kati- I look forward to reading yours!

Whim - Thanks for the compliment!

Anne - That seems to be the part that surprises most people.

LB- Can't wait to read yours too!

Em - Oh, I think you have a few things up your sleeve that would surprise us.

Enemy - yes, I did and my hair has survived to tell about it!

If I'd known how tough this pregnancy was going to be on my wife I would probably have opted for cloning...

oh boy - I talk in my sleep as well - my mom always knew what I was up to and I could never figure out how. She told me as I got older and she stopped sitting in my room when I became a teenager while I went to sleep - hmmm I think she may have started hearing things she didnt want to hear!

Thanks for sharing this stuff - oh yea and when can you fly to Kansas - I need a haircut!!!
