So much Drama!

People astound me....

I am getting into my new job, and am being blown away by people.

The majority of the people that are renting are people recently going through a divorce or people getting ready to divorce and want a place for when they break the news.

We have another couple that is there in top secret. The apartment is in her name only. He can't because he is someone famous and he can't let his ex know he is remarried or living there.

People walk into rent an apartment and I find out more about them in 15 minutes time. I know the ones who are getting divorced, using them as a love nest and the ones who are hiding from ex's.

Why would you open up that much??? I don't think I have ever laid bare my soul to a girl renting me an apartment.

Sounds like a bunch of really lonely people just greatful for someone that will listen to them.

So...other than the soap opera, how are you liking the new job?

Susan- I am really liking it. I get to get up and help people, so I am not sitting on my duffer all day. It is also busy, so the days go by fast....

Everyone is looking for some type of approval in one way or another.

Maybe they just figure that once you run their credit report, you pretty much so know everything anyway! And LOL! Can people really live in top secret? Without telling the secret?

Sounds like a very interesting new job. You get to help people. You get to enjoy a bit of intrigue. You get to talk to lots of people with lots of different stories to tell. Sounds like a fun job!

I never tell my secrets. People will make shit up about you anyway.

I'm thinking they're trying to tell you how much they need the apartment so you will be more likely to give it to them; or they're asking you not to let anyone know they're there, in case someone should come looking for them. Yikes! Sounds like a lot of liars, cheaters and scoundrels. Like you're living inside a soap opera. Lol.

...love nest? People really do that??

LOL It does sound rather soap opera-ish. Glad you're having a good time at the new job. It's always amazing what people are willing to let be out in the open, and the other things that they think they MUST hide. Cell phone conversations are a good example. A person has what should be a private conversation standing in the middle of a store or other crowded place. *shaking head* Just funny.

I hope you continue to enjoy your job!

I guess it's just easier to talk to a stranger sometimes and you are a kind person.

I hope you are enjoying the new job.

I think it's amazing what some people will tell perfect strangers. They tell me stuff I wouldn't tell my mom. Actually, there is a lot I wouldn't tell my mom ...

Anyway, i have your interview questions but I need your e-mail address ... my address is available on my blog, so just shoot me an e-mail and I'll return it with questions.

LoL, I am one of those soul-baring people. I have found that a lot of folks actually pick my brain on it & some actually confide that they too have been through the same things. More than once, I have had them ask for advice and/or words of wisdom on those experiences. Of course, I don't bare all to everyone...I at least, have discretion there.
