Come Here my Little Pretty's!

Come one, come all....

Please enter, it is warm and inviting in here....

Come take a seat, kick back, relax....drinks of your choice will be served momentarily...now close your eyes, and let your mind wander a little

we are going to take a ride in Barb's imaginary world.

In my imaginary world, I don't have to work 12 days straight without a day off...
In my imaginary world, I have enough money to take a road trip to go visit all my favorite blog people...
In my imaginary world, there is some sanity in my life...

By now all of you are thinking that your dear little blogger friend Barb has lost her lovin little mind....right???

Well all of you are right!! Barb is off her rocker...a few too many knocks to the 'ole noggin! Yep, dun gone and lost the little sanity I have left!

My mom's been through things like that when the furniture store she works for had a fire in their warehouse. I sympathize.

I like your music playlist, by the way.

Yingyang- its tough to work non-stop! Have to have a day off to recoop! Thanks, this is a small bit of the music I love.

Sanity is really over-rated. I lost mine years ago and haven't missed it at all.

Well, you know I see dead people and talk trash and still think God loves me. So welcome to insanity. But let's drink Pomagranite Martinis, get in the car and drive. Spongy will give us his credit cards.

One time, I had to work 28 days straight without a day off. :0

I'm sure glad there are no sane people in here. Can I have a vodka on the rocks please?

Now you see why I recently had a melt down. I worked every weenend between thanksgiving and June and almost went crazy. I love you little world. May I join you? I give great imaginary back rubs and fix outstanding imaginary drinks. Just relax and enjoy your massage.

Barb, if you weren't crazy, writing would be very hard to do. Seriously. And you know your blogger friends would buy your ticket around the world to party down. This is quite the collection of beautiful personalities assembled here.

Gotta go to class and then work, then the Doctor. Wish me luck.

And of course good luck to you, Barb

Art - Glad to know its ok to be insane!!

Enemy - Ok lets round up the troops and get the card from Spongy and have a ball.

LB - Geez makes mine seem not as bad, but I am still irritated that my manager won't give me at least on day off.

Corky - Vodka on the rocks coming up, wanna make it a double??

Greg - a great guy like you is always welcome, especially when you through in back rubs and drink mixing.

Eric - Yes, I do agree...It would be a bit hard to write , if my brain was totally screwed in right.

I know that work, whether you like your job or not, is the ultimate brain consumer, not alcohol. I have been struggling with a lot of burnout. Corky--let's get some really good vodka, like Stoli--oh that is wonderful on the rocks after you refrigerate it for about 2 days.

I closed my eyes and tried to go there but I invite you into mine!

We jump in a mustang, top down, sun not hot enough to burn us, breeze flowing through our hair. We stop and rob a couple banks in the midwest, we don't hurt anyone, and take just the funds we need. Stop in Oklahoma hunt us some grub, hit a oil and become rich beyond our imagination and never have to work again. Damn sorry we didn't make it as far at Philly Enemy ...

That's okay, Spongy, but share the wealth, okay?

I'll start off drinkgin beer with a bourbon chaser. Later I'll switch to alternating tequila and lemoncello shots. Surely you have some absinthe there too? Oh dear, I think either somebody will have to call me a cab or you'll have to let me sleep on your couch. LOL

DANG!!! Girl, sounds like you're ENTITLED to a few blessed moments of insanity (and a good long weekend!). Hope you've got a day (or 3 or 4) off finally, and can chill & relax. ((((HUGS))))

Pfffft!

Sanity, who needs it? Besides you can get away with so much when you are lacking.

Feel better soon sweetie.

Now Jay knows the party ritual. Barb, all these drunk bloggers...we will have to rent a slew of rooms; maybe we will get convention rates.

Have I said how much I like your profile photo? You look really great for a crazy person! (Hey, rockers are for old folks anyway)!

Awww... I'm sorry you're having to work so hard. But I like your imaginary world.

...I wonder if Greg would give ME a drink and a backrub too? That sounds wonderful. *sigh*

I didn't realize the temps had gotten high enough to fry brains this early in the Central Valley Summer!

Nope. I didn't think you fell off your rocker. I just thought, "that's Barb."

Seriously, I feel your pain -- all work and no play really stinks.

You can always come and crash in my imaginary world!

Twelve days without a break. Geez. Might be time (cough, cough) for a sick day.

I can't abide sane people, they are far too dull! I think most of us in here are nuts, it's what bonds us together.. x

I love you imaginary world... sometimes it's the imaginary world that keeps us going through this concrete one.
