Somebody Stop Me

I had a fantastic, crazy weekend....and now tonight I will crash very, very hard.

There are muscles I didn't even know I had that hurt from dancing and playing.

The bad thing is as hard as I played, I still had to work all weekend. So like a trooper, I played hard, and went to work the next day. For three days in a row....Geez, when I was 20 I could do that non stop, but now not so much.

I hope everyone had a safe and fun weekend. I would love to hear some stories of what everyone else did.

PS - for Gawpo - The part of Oregon I grew up in is the Rogue Valley area, but I also know the coast areas really well, as well as Eugene, Salem, Portand, and many other areas. I had grandparents in Coos Bay. I love Oregon. I have often thought of returning there.

I remember the good old days. When sleep was something I could do when I was dead. Now, I'm just worthless and weak. LOL

I don't know how you did it! It's Tuesday and I am d-r-a-g-g-i-n-g ! I am so glad no one stopped you, and you had a good week-end!

I feel about the same way. My Dad's visiting. I ran after Mariel Friday and Staurday while the wife worked. Church on Sunday. Yard work on Monday. Back to work Tuesday.

Yep. Not 20 anymore. Hell, not 40 anymore...

It's amazing how much energy I had in my 20's. My life was school, working and dancing my shoes off! I got NO sleep, I couldn't do it now, not even for only three days like you did.

Phaseoutgirl - I see you all over the blogosphere too, you are welcome here anytime.

Jay - I still have friends that say, I will sleep when I am dead...I can't do that now, I love to sleep.

Singleton- I hear you about the dragging part. But the good times and memories make it worth it.

Craig- Sounds like you had a pretty crazy weekend too.

Greg- I read about your boat, that would have been SO frustrating.

Glad you had a good time - even if you played 'too hard'.

PS, I spent some time in and around Eugene myself...

Sounds good! I too used to be able to party all night and then work all day...only to do it again! Just thinking about it gets me light headed now...LOL!

What did you play, RUGBY?

I don't consider a weekend a success unless I'm aching on Monday. Or Tuesday.

Glad you had a good time. I stayed home, loafed around, bar-be-qued.

LOL! Don't you just miss the stamina you had when you were in your 20's?

I'm glad you had a good weekend. Mine was pretty mellow. I mainly hung out and watched a bunch of DVDs.

LOL...You Asked!
Last night I went OUT for the first time with girlfriends since getting married four years ago. I was a wildchild & loved every minute of it. I came in at 4am and woke up at 6:30 to start the day...which began by me having to brillo scrub my hands, arms, shoulders & stomach. Lol, I had been gathering phone numbers all about my body like I was some gas station bathroom wall. No harm done,in fact, I'm relieved to know I still have that wildchild in me... been wallowing around much too long.
hmmm...maybe I should keep this a secret.
