Yesterday I was tagged twice to do the Weird things about me, meme. (Someone must think I am pretty weird) lol.
Soooo, lets see, I did some thinking and some more thinking and I think I have come up with a decent list of weird things about me.
1. When I talk, I talk with my hands. I can, at time become very animated. People always tease me that if my hands were tied I would not be able to talk. But I can talk even if my hands are still at my sides....
2. I talk to myself, and I answer myself back. I can have a full one person conversation! I also blast music and sing at the top of my lungs when driving in my car. (Something I would never force another human to listen to.)
3. I have my own "Barb" dictionary...I make up words as I go. I also use words like thingamajig, thingybobber, and dohickey to decribe things, when a normal vocabulary word won't work.
4. I seem to have a pension for remembering weird facts and small details of strange and unimportant events.
5. I have post it notes every where. If I don't write something down I am very liable to not remember it.
6. I love playing cards, I play almost any game there is, for Christmas one year I got a cd with 101 different card games on it and I have played almost all of them.
So there are some weird facts about me....Now its my turn to tag some people...I tag Chucky, Echo, Kati and Baron Ectar.

#4 ... I do this too. In fact I remember some of the strangest things from something that happened many years ago. I don't remember where I put my keys this morning, but I know what I had for dinner at a restuarant in San Francisco 14 years ago. Weird huh?
Jay - Nope, sounds about "normal"...for me anyways!!!! LOL
Do you play cribbage? I love that game and hardly anyone I know even knows what it is.

Everyone's weird in their own way. The more I read these memes, the more I think that "normal" is an illusion.

The sad part is, after hitting the "publish" button I thought of some even better, weirder thing that I could have posted...
#2 has ME written all over it...didn't think it was weird though. I thought I was being nice by engaging ymself in casual conversation while we wait for other humans to speak with...

LOL You're right, we DO have a lot in common. I can relate to every single one of these...well, except for the card games. I can't stand playing card games...
LOL I just answered, and I've gotta say, I think that talking to oneself is normal. Considering how many people engage in that practice, I mean. ;)
Weird?? Naw! You "ain't" weird! Naw...What I would give to see you blasting out a song like Bohemian Rhapsody while in the car! I would continue to watch you while I drive off a cliff somewhere! I am like you, I love to sing while driving... unless I am at a traffic light! :-)
#2 Yes! Sometimes I have conversations with myself too! Mostly, I like to pretend like I'm shit-talking or having an argument with someone. I don't know why.
#6 You received a CD of playing cards? Does anyone still use REAL playing cards. You know, like an actual 52 card deck?

i can totally relate to the post-it notes one. i need them just to get through my day. what is fun is to go back and look at ones from months or even years ago.

Sometimes I am driving through town singing my heart out and I pull up to a stop light and people will just look and grin!
I already did this but I will tell you a weird thing about me that makes people laugh - I can move my right ear up and down - without moving my eyebrows all day. When I was a kid I use to sit in the front row of church and do it to the guest preachers that came to my dads church just to see if I could make them laugh! It always worked!
